The West Texas Cruisers will sponsor their Jr. Dragster series exclusively at DTR in 2012 and the dates are as follows: March 23 (non-points) with all remaining dates points-paying. Those dates are; April 20, May 11, June 8, July 13, August 10, and September 14.

RULES 2011

WTC Jr. Dragster Series

All IHRA safety rules must be adhered to.
SAFETY FIRST.
Drivers must have arm restraints that keep hands and arms below cowl.
NO CARS FASTER THAN 7.90

Pull backs by crew allowed only in qualifying, (over staged car).

Driver must stage car, (no pushing car into staging lights by crew).

Courtesy staging required, (don’t final stage until other car has prestaged).

Follow instruction give in drivers meeting for return road procedures.

Points:
5 points for 1st place
3 points for 2nd place
2 points for 3rd & 4th
1 point for each round win (even if it is bye run win)
2 points to show at each race
Double points at championship final race
One points race (the lowest) will be dropped.
Bye run may be waved in first round only, if no one takes it, final single car remaining will get it.
Buy back allowed after first round only
The Track sets the entry fee and buy back fee not WTC
Trophies will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place
Any ties in points finals will be settled by run offs
